A Warm Welcome Back

My return to Cozumel in 2019 was perfect.

My travel day went about as well as can be.  My flight was on time, and totally uneventful. Soooo yay!  I'm a bit of a nervous flyer.  Boring is great!!!

I landed at Terminal 4 at the Cancun airport.  It's brand new, and well organized.  There were lots of immigration staff and relatively few passengers.  So there was almost no wait times.  There was also a new customs procedure.  Nothing to declare?  Just grab your suitcase and go!  Kinda crazy!

My connections with the bus and ferry were quick and easy.

But most notable was the warm welcome I got from Tom and Barbara.  Tom picked me up at the ferry.  Then he lugged my honking big suitcase up the stairs to my apartment and helped me reorganize the furniture in my apartment, because having the right fen shui is important!  And took me to a pretty waterfront restaurant for a drink.  Divine!  The evening ended with a lovely home made fish dinner on the back patio with Tom and Barbara. Yummy!
