There's a waterfront restaurant called Cafe del Mar. I went there today for the 1st time this year. It's such a wonderful place to be! But I was a little nostalgic...In past years, I spent several lovely afternoons at Cafe del Mar. Most often with my friends Susan and Christine. Who are from the US and I met in Cozumel. Each time we went, we lounged in their great bean bag type chairs, read, chatted, swam in the ocean. We usually also had lunch. My favourite was a super delicious salad with pineapple, tomatoes, shredded coconut, and balsamic vinegar.
I'm very happy that the cafe still has the bean bag chairs and yummy salad! And even added some umbrella / roof type things to provide more shade! But I'm sad that Susan and Chris won't be coming to Cozumel this winter. I'll miss their hugs, happy good morning greetings, and general good cheer. I'll also miss our fun adventures together :(
