There's a cleaning product here called Fabuloso. It's very popular. But I'm not a fan....Fabuloso is a multi-purpose cleaner. It comes in a variety of fun colours and fun scents. Mexicans seem to love it and use it liberally. I imagine it cleans well.
The problem for me is the smell. It's really strong! So strong that it makes my lips, and around my mouth kinda numb. That can't be good can it????
The cleaning lady was scheduled to do my apartment on Thursday. I don't like to be a problem client. But I asked if she could use less Fabuloso and explained why. She was very kind about it. She inquired "was it just the floor/surface cleaning products I had an issue with or the laundry detergent too?" Both! My pillow smelled so strong my 1st night here, my lips were numb soon after I lied down....
I thanked her for asking.
When I got back to my apartment Thursday afternoon, it was all clean. Floors swept, bathroom cleaned, fresh sheets. But, it smelled "nothing". Yay!!! I thanked her very much!!
