I love BBQ!!!

I love BBQ!  Happily, there's a lot of BBQ in Mexico! 

There's BBQ chicken!  BBQ porc!  BBQ Ribs! 

When in Tulum, one of favourite meals was at a small, mostly take-out BBQ chicken place.  It was late, they only had 4 chickens left.  We were a bit worried they might be dry.  But we were hungry, so we took a chance.  It was amazing!!!

My mission this year in Cozumel is to "mix it up".  Try new things.  I promise I will.  But!  I had to go back to one of my favourite places.  Billy's BBQ. 

I bought 1/2 chicken to (partly) eat there.  It came with rice and cole slaw and soft tacos.  I also bought 1/2 kg of poc chuc (porc chop) "to go" and share with Barbara and Tom later.  All of that, including a bottle of water, cost me 200 pesos.  About $16 CDN.  Delicious!!!!!!
