Tallulah at Turquoise!

Today I met Tallulah the pig.  At a beach club/restaurant called Turquoise.  So fun!

I went to Turquoise because they have hamacs suspended over/partly in the water.  How sweet on a hot day?!  What I hadn't noticed, initially, was you have to get all wet to get to the hamacs.  Hmmmm if I must.  ( I love to swim.  I do not like the getting wet process....)

So, I swim to the hamacs and struggle to get in.  Pretty much as soon as I'm settled, a young girl in the hamac beside me says "they let Tallulah the pig out for her lunch/exercise"  What???

I flop out of the hamac and swim back to the beach, cause I really wanna see this!

There she was.  Tallulah, a pot bellied pig, munching on ice in a bowl.  Then walking around the tables to see if clients might give her some food.  Priceless!!!

Alex, the charming waiter, explained to me that there was once a family of wild pigs in the jungle. The family is now (mostly?) gone.  Tallulah was one of the babies.  She can't make her own babies cause she's been spayed.  You have to spay your pets in Cozumel....

Pictures
1- Tallulah looking for handouts from clients at the restaurant.  During this little walkabout, she kinda got stuck under a chair, and peed under a table.  Too fun!!!
2- The hamacs are in the "L" shape between the 2 parts of the dock.  It was a little cool to really enjoy the hamac in the water.  But I'm glad I went anyway.
3 - Up close and personal with Tallulah!
4 - Alex, the charming waiter, enticing Talullah back into her home.  Her belly will drag on the ground soon, if she doesn't stop eating so many corn chips!!
5 - Turquoise from the street.  The posts are painted with some very pretty designs.

PS - Google says....The name for a group of pigs depends on the animals' ages. A group of young pigs is called a drift, drove or litter. Groups of older pigs are called a sounder of swine, a team or passel of hogs or a singular of boars.
