My main mission today was to give my bicycle some love. I set out early-ish in the morning to find the shop that installed the basket on my bike last year. There are several places that fix bicycles. But I like this one best because they agreed to try install my basket last year, and did a great job of it, even though it took a fair bit of effort. All the other shops I went to just said "no". They didn't even want to try install one. I suppose that's fair. It's not like other bicycles here.
As usual, the shop was busy and chaotic, by our standards. But my tires are now well inflated, my chain is clean and has new oil, I have a new bell, and my brakes passed inspection. Yay! I'm good for a new "season". The o

Bottom - Walking on the sidewalk is always an adventure. Today, I tripped on the little ledge you can see in the picture. I managed to stay on my feet. But that's three "near" misses in three days. Are we done now?!
